Shant Joti has been in my life as far as I can remember, she has followed me through the many waves of my adolescence and young womanhood. I deeply cherish her advice and have made many important life decisions with the help of her words and her presence.
A few years ago, I managed to finish my Master's degree, through which tears and strife were strong. Jocelyne played a big part in this accomplishment. Her support was one of the reasons I pushed so hard, past my comfort zone, in order to finish school. Although I often wanted to quit, I was unhappy at times, unsatisfied by the educational system I was in, I held on to two thoughts that helped me get through 1) The little voice inside my head, my intuition which told me I had to finish because the world would open up to me once I had and 2) the memory of Shant Joti's voice telling me that once my Master's would be finished, everything would fall into place and make way to the kind of life I truly want, a life full of projects, travel, a life where work and pleasure are one.
Ever since then, I have been living that life. And it would not have been the same without that degree. It has opened doors for me onto the world, it brought me to live in Latin America, it brought me to perform in the arts that I love. So thank you Shant Joti
